Customs Arrangements

Pilots of international flights using Redhill must fill out a General Aviation Report (GAR) Form. Guidance on filling out the GAR Form can be found here.

Pilots operating flights where all the crew and passengers are EU passport holders must give a minimum of 4 hours notice of their inbound flight.

Flights with any non-EU passport holders are required to give at least 24hrs prior notice and photocopies of the passport and entry visas will be required.

ON LINE GAR

AOPA, in conjunction with Border Force, have produced a web based system to enable pilots to easily submit a GAR. To access their system please click On Line GAR. Registration is required and the system is free to use.

E MAIL

Here is a downloadable copy of the GAR Form. The completed form should be saved and then emailed to the National Co-ordination Unit. A copy of the GAR should also be sent to directly to the local Border Force Office.

It is the responsibility of the pilot in command to comply with these procedures.
