Learning to Fly

There are several companies based at Redhill who are able to offer a range of flying training courses (PPL, CPL, Flying Instructor, Instrument and Night Flying) on both fixed-wing and helicopters.

Harvard Aviation - based in Aero 16, opposite Bristow Helicopters, Harvard operate a fleet of Cessna 152, Cessna 172 and Piper PA28 aircraft. Redhill Aviation - based in the Old Main Block Redhill Aviation has a fleet of Cessna 152 aircraft and a Piper PA28-181 training aircraft which they operate alongside Piper PA34 Seneca and Piper PA31 Chieftain aircraft used for charter work. EBG Helicopters - based in Hanger 1 operate the Cabri G2, Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters together with a Eurocopter EC120. pmFlight - based in Aero 14, Entrance B off Kings Mill Lane, pmFlight offers bespoke training on fixed based flight simulators. Facilities include a dedicated briefing area, simulator room, UPS back-up generator and air conditioning.
